Erin Oakie

Erin Oakie comes to the team with a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University of Fredericton, New Brunswick (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from MacEwan University of Edmonton, Alberta (2009). She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Erin has had the privilege of working with children, families, teens, and high-risk youth for the last 13 years within various clinical, community, and educational settings. Erin supports clients by using a client-centred and integrative approach to create a non-judgmental, caring and compassionate space where clients feel supported and empowered to overcome challenging life experiences and circumstances.

Erin draws from several evidence-based modalities to address the individual needs of her clients. She is experienced in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, low-self esteem, behavioural challenges, parenting concerns, school difficulties, and family conflict.
