Educational Consultation
Child In Mind offers Educational Consultation to families that are having a difficult time navigating the school system for their child with identified needs.
Educational Consultants are available to work with families following a psycho-educational assessment, to help translate the findings and recommendations from the assessment into actionable tasks in the classroom and school. Our Educational Consultants have extensive experience working in the school systems as Principals, Learning Support Teachers and Social Workers, which offers unique insight and knowledge of the available resources for children with exceptionalities. For families that have not received a psycho-educational assessment, our Educational Consultants are available to help guide parents regarding available services and programs, to offer training with assistive technology, and to make suggestions regarding appropriate accommodations or class placements that would set the child up for success.
