Vanessa M.C., R.P is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, She has had the privilege of working with children, youth, and their families for over 10 years within various educational, community, and clinical settings. Vanessa provides clients a warm, respectful, and supportive environment to encourage deeper exploration of their challenges. She strives to support clients and their caregivers in increasing their understanding of distressing emotions and difficult behaviours, strengthening their interpersonal relationships, improving family functioning, and discovering new solutions, all while bringing empathy, humour, and collaboration to session to deliver a positive and impactful therapeutic experience.

Vanessa draws from several evidence-based modalities to address the individual needs of her clients. She is experienced in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, low-self worth, behavioural challenges, school concerns, sensory-related issues, and parent-child (or sibling-to-sibling) relational difficulties, among others.

Vanessa holds a Masters Degree in Counselling from Athabasca University (2016) and an Honours degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology from Carleton University (2008).
