Brogan Van holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University (2021) and an Honors B.A. in Psychology from Carleton University (2011). She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC).
Brogan has been supporting families in a mental health capacity for 10 years. Brogan’s approach to her work focuses on the role and importance of attachment figures, as well as understanding the dynamics and patterns of interaction within a family unit.
More recently, Brogan has pursued her interest in supporting couples with communicating more effectively, resolving conflicts, and working to foster more compassion, curiosity, and connection. Brogan also supports adults and teens with addressing a wide range of issues relating to anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.
Brogan seeks to help clients deepen their sense of self, strengthen their relationships, and work towards creating a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. Brogan takes an integrative approach to her work, and is trained in several evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT, and Gottman Method.
